TTAC Meeting September 11, 2026 <\/div>\r\nSeptember 11, 2026, 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. ET in the Cash Room (2121) at the Main Treasury Building. \r\n

<\/P>\r\nDuring this meeting, the TTAC will advise Treasury and IRS officials on Tribal tax issues and hear public comments.\r\n

<\/P>\r\nDue to Security requirements, only registered attendees will be permitted entry into the Treasury building. Registration will close Friday, September 4, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. ET. If you are unable to attend the TTAC meeting in person, you may participate virtually. \r\n

<\/P>\r\nIf you\u2019re a recipient organization that\u2019s been invited to enroll into ASAP.gov by a federal agency, this training is perfect for you. In this webinar, you\u2019ll learn the steps for enrolling into ASAP.gov. There is no charge for this training.\r\n

<\/P>\r\nFriday, August 28, 2026, from 2:30-5:30 p.m. ET, the Departments will consult on ED\u2019s FY 2028 Budget Request to the President.\r\n

<\/P>\r\nThe U.S. Department of Education (ED) will conduct two Tribal Consultations on the Interagency Implementation of ED\u2019s Fiscal Year 2027 Grantmaking Priorities and Fiscal Year 2028 Budget Priorities in coordination with the U.S. Department of the Interior (DOI).\r\n

Yurok Tribe Regains 125 Acres of Ancestral Redwood Land<\/div>\r\nSave the Redwoods League transferred 125 acres of land in the heart of Yurok ancestral territory back to the Yurok Tribe through a transformational agreement that prioritizes tribal land\u2011management practices, creates a new public space, and permanently protects critical salmon habitat.\r\n

<\/P>\r\n\u201cThis project represents a truly just approach to the restoration of culturally important landscapes and tribal communities,\u201d said Joseph L. James, the Chairman of the Yurok Tribe. \u201cI hope it sets a national standard for collaboration between environmental protection groups and tribal nations. I sincerely thank Save the Redwoods League for working with the tribe to make this dream a reality.\u201d\r\n
