The measure has the support of tribal colleges and Indian education organizations.\r\n<p><\/p>\r\nFollowing debate, the House passed S.5355, also known as the NACIE Improvement Act by a voice vote. The bill has already passed the U.S. Senate so it can now be sent to President Joe Biden for his signature.\r\n<p><\/p>\r\nDuring consideration of the bill, Rep. Virginia Foxx (R-Virginia) discussed at length her work as chair of the House Committee on House Education and Workforce.
