<\/p>\r\nAhead of a scheduled recess, the Senate Committee on Indian Affairs<\/a> is holding a legislative hearing on tribal water rights legislation.\r\n

<\/p>\r\nFive bills are on the agenda for the hearing on Wednesday afternoon<\/a>. They follow:\r\n

<\/p>\r\nS.3573<\/a>, A bill to amend the Aamodt Litigation Settlement Act to modify a provision relating to the extension of certain dates for the completion of the Regional Water System, and for other purposes\r\n

<\/p>\r\nS.3617<\/a>, the Yavapai-Apache Nation Water Rights Settlement Act of 2026\r\n

<\/p>\r\nS.4368<\/a>, the Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians Water Rights Settlement Act\r\n

<\/p>\r\nS.4417<\/a>, the Pechanga Band of Indians Water Rights Settlement Technical Amendments Act\r\n

<\/p>\r\nS.4890<\/a>, the Protecting Indian Water Rights Settlements Act of 2026\r\n

<\/p>\r\nThe hearing takes place at 2:30pm Eastern in Room 628 of the Senate Dirksen Office Building. The witness list follows:\r\n
