It\u2019s among the more promising developments in at least a year in the fight against the pandemic that has <a href=https:\/\/www.cdc.gov\/mmwr\/volumes\/69\/wr\/mm6949a3.htm?s_cid=mm6949a3_w>disproportionately affected Native Americans<\/a>. \r\n<p><\/p>\r\nBut many individuals remain <a href=https:\/\/www.usatoday.com\/story\/news\/nation\/2020\/12\/26\/native-american-tribal-members-hesitant-get-covid-19-vaccine\/4042556001\/>wary of the vaccine<\/a>, citing possible unforeseen side effects, and a general distrust of the federal government and the Indian Health Service.
