FOR TRIBES

Advance Your Tribe’s Public Finance Data with the Survey of Native Nations

Tribal governments make vital financial decisions to build strong, healthy communities and steward their resources for future generations. The Survey of Native Nations equips tribal governments with high-quality public finance data that can inform their decision-making and help them tell their economic stories in data-driven ways.

We are working with the Center for Indian Country Development (CICD) to make the survey available to our members. As part of the Federal Reserve System, CICD brings the secure data infrastructure required to protect tribal data and help build the data systems we need.

By participating in the survey, your tribal government will receive a confidential data report for use in your decision-making and communications, and you will help us serve our members by contributing to research-based insights about our members’ economic contributions and challenges. The deadline for participating in this round of the Survey of Native Nations is August 1, 2026. Learn how you can get involved and help us build a better data future.

Source: Center for Indian Country Development/Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis
Learn More and Participate

2.
