It\u2019s the second time on the same list for the land that is already a protected <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nps.gov\/chcu\/index.htm\">National Historic Park<\/a> and a <a href=\"https:\/\/whc.unesco.org\/en\/list\/353\/\">UNESCO World Heritage Site<\/a>. \r\n<p><\/p>\r\nThe energy development moratorium was instituted in 2023 by then-Interior Secretary Deb Haaland, who is a citizen of the Pueblo of Laguna, one of many tribes with ties to Chaco.
