Conversion therapy is condemned by major medical establishments including the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.apa.org\/topics\/lgbtq\/evidence-against-conversion-therapy\">American Psychological Association<\/a> and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ama-assn.org\/public-health\/population-health\/advocating-lgbtq-community\">American Medical Association<\/a>.\r\n<p><\/p>\r\n LGBTQ2+ advocates at the Trevor Project are now calling the Supreme Court\u2019s ruling in <a href=https:\/\/www.thetrevorproject.org\/blog\/chiles-v-salazar\/><em>Chiles v. Salazar<\/em><\/a> a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetrevorproject.org\/blog\/the-trevor-project-condemns-supreme-court-decision-to-treat-debunked-practice-of-conversion-therapy-as-protected-speech\/\">&#8220;tragic step backward&#8221; when it comes to LGBTQ2S youth<\/a>.
