The bill  settles the water rights of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hopi-nsn.gov\/\">Hopi Tribe<\/a>, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.navajo-nsn.gov\/\">Navajo Nation<\/a> and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sanjuanpaiute-nsn.gov\">San Juan Southern Paiute Tribe<\/a> on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kelly.senate.gov\/newsroom\/press-releases\/kelly-introduces-bipartisan-bicameral-legislation-to-ratify-and-fund-historic-navajo-tribes-water-rights-settlement\/\">main stem of the Colorado River, the Little Colorado River and relevant groundwater sources<\/a> in northeastern Arizona.\r\n<P><\/P>\r\n&#8226; <a href=https:\/\/www.congress.gov\/bill\/118th-congress\/senate-bill\/4643>S.4643<\/a>, the Zuni Indian Tribe Water Rights Settlement Act of 2024. The bill settles the water rights of the <a href=https:\/\/www.ashiwi.org>Pueblo of Zuni<\/a>  in New Mexico and authorizes <a href=https:\/\/www.heinrich.senate.gov\/newsroom\/press-releases\/nm-delegation-announces-water-rights-bill-for-zuni-tribe>$685 million in federal funding to support the tribe&#8217;s water resources<\/a>, including     <a href=https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Zu\u00f1i_Salt_Lake>Zuni Salt Lake<\/a>, a sacred place.\r\n<P><\/P>\r\n&#8226; <a href=https:\/\/www.congress.gov\/bill\/118th-congress\/senate-bill\/4705>S.4705<\/a>, the Yavapai Apache Nation Water Rights Settlement Act.
