<\/p>\r\nNagle is a citizen of the Cherokee Nation<\/a> and an award-winning journalist. Her book focuses on the historic U.S. Supreme Court decision<\/a> that resulted in the affirmation of tribal reservations in Oklahoma. \r\n

<\/p>\r\nGabrielle Tayac<\/a>, a historian and professor from the Piscataway Indian Nation, served as moderator for the reading, which took place<\/a> at People’s Book in Takoma Park, Maryland.\r\n
