The bill adds an area known as <a href=https:\/\/www.rubio.senate.gov\/rubio-colleagues-introduce-bill-to-incorporate-osceola-camp-into-miccosukee-reserved-area\/>Osceola Camp<\/a> to the reservation of the <a href=\"https:\/\/miccosukee.com\/miccosukee-tribe-history\/\">Miccosukee Tribe<\/a>. The land is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nps.gov\/ever\/learn\/news\/osceola-cure-plan-ea.htm\">located within the Everglades National Park<\/a> in Florida. The bill <a href=https:\/\/fernandez.house.gov\/media\/press-releases\/rep-leger-fernandez-senator-lujan-introduce-legislation-amend-water-rights>authorizes appropriations for water projects<\/a> that would benefit the   <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/jicarillaapachenationpr\/\">Jicarilla Apache Nation<\/a>, the <a href=https:\/\/www.navajo-nsn.gov\/>Navajo Nation<\/a> and five Pueblo tribes.  A total of $18.4 million would be appropriated by the measure. The bill confirms that the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lyttonrancheria.com\/\">Lytton Rancheria<\/a>, headquartered in California, can follow the land-into-trust process under the <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Indian_Reorganization_Act\">Indian Reorganization Act<\/a>. It also confirms that any land-into-trust acquisitions made for the tribe, whose federal recognition was reaffirmed in 1991 as part of litigation, are part of the tribe&#8217;s reservation. The bill authorizes the <a href=https:\/\/www.ihs.gov\/>Indian Health Service<\/a> to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.indian.senate.gov\/newsroom\/press-release\/republican\/murkowski-introduces-legislation-to-combat-rabies-in-rural-tribal-communities\/\">provide veterinary services<\/a> &#8212; including spaying and neutering of domestic animals &#8212; to tribes and tribal organizations.
