Wells on the reservation are showing levels the mineral manganese as much as 50 times higher than the agency considers safe. \r\n<p><\/p>\r\nA <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kcur.org\/2023-10-19\/native-american-communities-struggle-water-access\">long-term solution<\/a> could <a href=\"https:\/\/www.spreaker.com\/user\/11359105\/santee-clean-water-pipeline-update_1\">cost upwards of $40 million<\/a>.
