Ordaz, courtesy IAIA<\/figcaption>\r\n<div class=\"h3-responsive font-weight-bold\">Institute of American Indian Art hosts holiday art market<\/div>\r\n<div class=\"date\">Monday, November 6, 2023<\/div>\r\n<div class=\"source\">Indianz.Com<\/div>\r\n<P><\/P>\r\nThe <a href=https:\/\/iaia.edu\/>Institute of American Indian Arts<\/a> (IAIA) in New Mexico is getting ready for its   2023 holiday art market.\r\n<P><\/P>\r\nIAIA is hosting its  <a href=https:\/\/iaia.edu\/event\/2023-iaia-holiday-art-market-and-sfcc-holiday-arts-and-crafts-fair\/>Holiday Art Market<\/a> in conjunction with <a href=https:\/\/www.sfcc.edu\/sfcc-holiday-arts-and-crafts-fair\/>Santa Fe Community College<\/a> (SFCC), another educational institution in New Mexico&#8217;s capital city. More than 100 artists and craftworkers are expected to showcase their goods at   the two college campuses  from 9am to 4pm on Saturday, December 9.  \r\n<P><\/P>\r\n&#8220;IAIA will feature the work of Indigenous and non-Indigenous artists, including traditional incised and carved pottery from Eric Tafoya (Santa Clara Pueblo), traditional and contemporary beadwork by Juniper Anderson (Navajo), bronze and glass works by Adrian Wall (Jemez Pueblo), functional porcelain and stoneware by Margarita Paz-Pedro (Laguna Pueblo and Santa Clara Pueblo), wood carvings including Kachinas by Timothy Talawepi (Hopi), contemporary Native jewelry by Cree LaRance (Navajo, Hopi, and Assiniboine), and more,&#8221; a <a href=\"#news\">news release<\/a> on Monday stated.\r\n<P><\/P>\r\nThe IAIA Holiday Art Market will be held  at  the Performing Arts and Fitness Center at 83 Avan Nu Po Road. The SFCC Holiday Arts and Crafts Fair will be in the Main Hallway and Campus Center at 6401 Richards Ave.  Admission and parking are free at both campuses.\r\n<p><\/P>\r\nSpaces are still available for IAIA&#8217;s market. Everyone is encouraged to visit both campuses, which are only a six-minute drive or an 11-minute bike ride apart. The IAIA Holiday Art Market will be in the Performing Arts and Fitness Center at 83 Avan Nu Po Road.
