It is now a parched landscape that hinders tribal access to culture and economic development.\r\n<p><\/p>\r\nAlso,  hear about how a proposed <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncai.org\/news\/protecting-tribal-waters-and-sovereignty-navigating-the-new-wotus-proposed-rule\">weakening of federal protections for the majority of the country\u2019s wetlands<\/a> could affect tribes. Tribes manage millions of acres of wetlands.\r\n<p><\/p>\r\n The Trump administration seeks to limit the Environmental Protection Agency&#8217;s authority on how it regulates pollution under the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.epa.gov\/laws-regulations\/summary-clean-water-act\">Clean Water Act<\/a>.
