FUNDING OPPORTUNITIES:<\/em><\/div>\r\n<div class=\"h5-responsive sub\">INDIAN AFFAIRS SEEKING APPLICATIONS FOR 2022 NATIONAL TRIBAL BROADBAND GRANT PROGRAM<\/div>\r\nNational Tribal Broadband Grant Program award funding will be used to support Tribe\u2019s planning to install or expand broadband internet, which is high-speed internet access that is always on and faster than the traditional dial-up access, including that delivered through digital subscriber line (DSL), cable, fiber optic, wireless, satellite and broadband over power lines.\r\n<p><\/p>\r\nThe Office of Indian Economic Development seeks to fund approximately 15 to 27 grants, ranging in value from $100,000 to $175,000, and eligibility is limited to federally recognized American Indian and Alaska Native Tribal entities as listed in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.govinfo.gov\/content\/pkg\/FR-2022-01-28\/pdf\/2022-01789.pdf\">87 FR 4636<\/a>. These grants will be for a two-year term.\r\n<p><\/p>\r\nOIED is administering the NTBG, which is a competitive discretionary program, through its Division of Economic Development. The solicitation will be posted on the Grants.gov website under the \u201cSearch Grants\u201d tab. Proposals must be submitted via Grants.gov.
