<\/p>\r\nThe 2022-2026 FEMA National Tribal Strategy<\/a> was developed in consultation with tribes across the nation. It calls on FEMA to carry out a series of priorities from Indian Country, addressing tribal emergency management capacity and capabilities, tribal-specific resources, technical assistance, regular meetings and training opportunities.\r\n

<\/P>\r\n\u201cFEMA\u2019s first-ever National Tribal Strategy will be key to achieving this ambitious goal, which represents a significant milestone for the agency and reflects our deep commitment to better partner with and serve all 574 Federally recognized Tribal Nations,\u201d Administrator Deanne Criswell said in a news release on August 18, 2022.\r\n
