LPO IMPROVES ACCESS FOR TRIBAL ENERGY PROJECTS WITH UPDATED SOLICITATION<\/div>\r\n\u201cThese updates to the Tribal Energy Loan Guarantee Program are a significant step forward in addressing the feedback that NAFOA and tribes have offered and will help remove key barriers that tribes have encountered in accessing the program,\u201d said NAFOA Executive Director, Rico Frias. \u201cThese changes will hopefully unlock this program which holds real potential to improve access to capital for tribes to engage in economic development opportunities through energy projects. We encourage tribes to take advantage of the TELGP and continue to provide feedback on further needs.\u201d \r\n

2022 TRIBAL ENERGY WEBINAR SERIES: ENERGY INFRASTRUCTURE AND CLIMATE RESILIENCE<\/div>\r\n

<\/p>\r\nHosted by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Indian Energy, the 2022 Tribal Energy Webinar Series will focus on how tribes can position themselves to participate in the energy transition to the benefit of their communities and future generations.\r\n

<\/p>\r\nThe changing climate brings new and more extreme weather-related events and increased risks to energy infrastructure. The frequency and severity of extreme weather events, including wildfires, flooding, sea level rise, landslides, high winds, and temperature extremes, are increasing.
