<\/p>\r\nThe bill places land into trust for the Pascua Yaqui Tribe<\/a> and declares it to be part of the reservation. The land is located in Tucson, Arizona, and will be eligible for gaming purposes. \r\n

<\/p>\r\nA hearing on H.R.4881 took place before the House Subcommittee for Indigenous Peoples of the United States<\/a> on October 5<\/a>. The bill was previously approved by the House Committee on Natural Resources<\/a> during a markup on October 13<\/a>.\r\n

<\/p>\r\nFollowing consideration of the bill, a Republican member of the House requested a recorded vote on H.R.4881. As a result, further proceedings were postponed.\r\n

<\/p>\r\nHowever, it is expected that the measure will pass as soon as November 2, according to the Majority Leader<\/a>, or sometime during the week.\r\n
