A <a href=\"https:\/\/www.whitehouse.gov\/presidential-actions\/2025\/03\/modernizing-payments-to-and-from-americas-bank-account\/\">presidential executive order requires those and other transactions by the federal government to go completely electronic<\/a> by September 30. \r\n<p><\/p>\r\nThe White House claims paperless transactions will save taxpayers as much as $657 million.
