They follow:\r\n<p><\/p>\r\n<div class=mx-4>\r\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.congress.gov\/bill\/119th-congress\/house-bill\/411\">H.R.411<\/a>, the Keweenaw Bay Indian Community Land Claim Settlement Act of 2025. The bill authorizes the federal government to pay $33.9 million to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kbic-nsn.gov\">Keweenaw Bay Indian Community<\/a> to settle the taking of lands from the tribe in Michigan during the 1800s and the 1900s. The money can be used by the tribe for any purpose, except for the acquisition of lands to be used for gaming purposes.\r\n<p><\/p>\r\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.congress.gov\/bill\/119th-congress\/house-bill\/2916\">H.R.2916<\/a>,  a bill to authorize, ratify, and confirm the Agreement of Settlement and Compromise to Resolve the Akwesasne Mohawk Land Claim in the State of New York. The bill settles a land claim of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.srmt-nsn.gov\">Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe<\/a>  by authorizing the return of 3,500 acres from New York to the tribe, along with anticipating the acquisition of another 14,000 acres from willing sellers.\r\n<p><\/p>\r\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.congress.gov\/bill\/119th-congress\/house-bill\/3620\">H.R.3620<\/a>, the Southcentral Foundation Land Transfer Act of 2025. The bill authorizes the transfer of about 3.4 acres in Anchorage, Alaska, to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.southcentralfoundation.com\">Southcentral Foundation<\/a> to provide health and social services programs for tribal communities.\r\n<p><\/p>\r\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.congress.gov\/bill\/119th-congress\/house-bill\/3670\">H.R.3670<\/a>, the IHS Provider Expansion Act. The bill amends the <a href=https:\/\/www.ihs.gov\/IHCIA\/>Indian Health Care Improvement Act<\/a>  to create  a program for graduate medical education within the <a href=https:\/\/www.ihs.gov\/>Indian Health Service<\/a>.\r\n<\/div>\r\n<p><\/p>\r\n \r\n<a class=\"btn btn-primary btn-block\" href=\"https:\/\/indianz.com\/News\/hhrg-119-ii24-20250611-sd001\/\" role=\"button\">Hearing Notice<\/a>\r\n <p><\/p>\r\n<a class=\"btn btn-primary btn-block\" href=\"https:\/\/indianz.com\/News\/hhrg-119-ii24-20250611-sd002\/\" role=\"button\">Hearing Memo<\/a>\r\n  \r\n<P><\/P>\r\nThe hearing takes place at 10am in Room 1324 of the Longworth House Office Building.
