FOR TRIBES:<\/em><\/div>\r\n<div class=\"h5-responsive sub\">TREASURY TRIBAL ADVISORY COMMITTEE GENERAL WELFARE EXCLUSION SUBCOMMITTEE SESSION<\/div>\r\nThe Treasury Tribal Advisory Committee (TTAC) Subcommittee on General Welfare Exclusion Act is soliciting input from tribal governments on its <a href=\"https:\/\/indianz.com\/News\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/12\/ttacgwe.pdf\">draft report prior to making final recommendations to the TTAC<\/a> on guidance under the Tribal General Welfare Exclusion Act and the Internal Revenue Code Section 139E. POLICY:<\/em><\/div>\r\n<div class=\"h5-responsive sub\">USDA RURAL DEVELOPMENT TRIBAL LISTENING SESSION: RECONNECT BROADBAND LOAN &#038; GRANT PROGRAM<\/div>\r\nPlease join representatives from USDA Rural Development\u2019s Rural Utilities Service and the Office of Tribal Relations on Tuesday, April 20, at 3:30 pm ET.\r\n <p><\/p>\r\nThis session will allow RUS leadership to hear concerns and recommendations from Tribes and tribal telecom\/broadband industry experts regarding the ReConnect Program. MORE POLICY:<\/em><\/div>\r\n<div class=\"h5-responsive sub\">WHITE HOUSE ANNOUNCES REVIVAL OF COUNCIL ON NATIVE AMERICAN AFFAIRS <\/div>\r\nLast Thursday, the White House announced the relaunch of the White House Council on Native American Affairs (WHCNAA). The Council was created by executive order under President Obama in 2013, but did not regularly convene during the Trump Administration. The relaunch of the Council is part of an Administration-wide effort to strengthen the federal government&#8217;s relationship with Indian Country.\r\n<p><\/p>\r\nThe WHCNAA is an interagency Principals-level council that includes leaders from across the federal government. The Council will hold their first meeting on April 23, 2021. JOBS: <\/em><\/div>\r\n<div class=\"h5-responsive sub\">KAIBAB BAND OF PAIUTE INDIANS SEEKS FINANCE DIRECTOR<\/div>\r\nThis position is responsible for the overall financial and investment operations of the Tribe.  Management includes the oversight of the financial, accounting and bookkeeping for tribal programs, enterprises while maintaining the overall fiscal health of the tribal government. The incumbent will establish goals, objectives, policies, procedures and priorities related to activities of finance and budget.
