Letter: Apologize to Paugussett Tribe

WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 29, 2001 "Rep. Shays, Attorney General Blumenthal and Sen. Jepsen owe the people of Connecticut, and especially the Paugussetts, an apology for their racial and economic attack on this minority. This group, when recognized, will bring more than 12,000 jobs to a battered economy, which is only going to get worse. At a time when people are disgusted with politicians and their egomaniacal, corrupt practices, the Paugussetts are a breath of fresh air and a relief." Get the Story:
