NOVEMBER 13, 2000 Ho-Chunk Inc., the economic development corporation of the Winnebago Tribe of Nebraska, is a semi-finalist for the Honoring Nations award of the American Indian Economic Development program at Harvard University. The award honors excellency in tribal government and there 16 semi-finalists. At the National Congress of American Indians annual conference on Tuesday, the field will be narrowed to eight, who will each receive a $10,00 prize. The NCAI conference takes place this week in St. Paul, Minnesota. Get the Story:
