Meskwaki factions can't agree on discussions

An attempt by the National Indian Gaming Commission to help resolve the leadership dispute within the Meskwaki Tribe of Iowa failed, the Associated Press reports.

The agency tried to bring the appointed council and the elected council together but the sides couldn't agree to talk. NIGC has threatened to close the tribe's casino.
