FTC investigates fake Alaska Native art

MONDAY, NOVEMBER 4, 2002 The Federal Trade Commission is continuing its investigation into fake Alaska Native arts and crafts. The probe was spurred by a $46,000 public awareness campaign the FTC launched in conjunction with the Alaska State Council on the Arts and the Department of the Interior's Indian Arts and Crafts Board.
