Blockade halts company logging

Weyerhaeuser Corp. is promising to meet with the Penticton First Nation of British Columbia in response to a blockade that has halted logging around a mountain.

The band wants certain parts of the forest protected. Chief Stewart Phillip also wants some proceeds from timber sales.
