Native corps to receive wireless refund

THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 14, 2002 Three Alaska Native corporations whose investment in a federal wireless auction is the subject of Supreme Court case will receive a $233 million refund. Sealaska Corp., Doyon Ltd. and Arctic Slope Regional Corp. will get the money as part of their ongoing financial arrangement with partner AT&T Wireless. The corporations are hoping to cash in on the lucrative telecommunications market. Get the Story:
