Calif. group elects official

WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 6, 2002

The Tribal Alliance of Sovereign Indian Nations of California has elected Patrick Murphy Jr. as its secretary.

Murphy, a member of the Pechanga Band of Luiseno Indians, joins the four-member executive committee. The alliance has 14 members in southern California.
