Police seek suspected serial killer

SEPTEMBER 5, 2000

Police in Anchorage are seeking what may be a serial killer in the state.

Five of the six victims killed over the past 15 months are Alaska Native women. The police department says the women were either homeless or substance abusers or both.

The police department isn't confirming that the alleged slayings are serial in nature.
