Navajo court rejects Navajo preference claims
THURSDAY, JULY 3, 2003 The Navajo Nation Supreme Court cleared a mining company of violating the tribe's Navajo preference act. McKinley Mine fired a Navajo supervisor as part of massive layoffs.
