Her Sacrifice
Our sincere condolences to Lori Piestewa's family. Our thoughts and Prayers are with you at this time. She is a very Brave Warrior and will be remembered for the sacrifice she made for all of us.

An Angel is Near
Our heavenly father as took an angel back to heaven. He swooped her off her feet. She was in battle and he decided it was time for her to come home. We haven't lost anyone we just gained our love for one another. She left us two angels of her own and we know she will always be with them. She will be the sun who shines on her sons faces, there smile is hers, their tears are all of our nations together. Still we know she is that one eagle fliying in the sky she will see us again and we will be wth her another day. Our lives are on hold untill that day but just you wait we will alwayz remember her in every way!

My Heart is sad. Your special Lori is in my Hero, she is an icon for all Native American Veterans. I am a Native American Desert Storm Veteran. I will think of and pray for Lori every time I ponder the thoughts of what we all did in that far away place. Stay strong and God Bless all of you.

I am truly sorry for your loss of Lori. I live in Denver, and we also received a visit from Lori as it gently snowed enough for us to know it was her, just two days ago. She is now walking along the clouds, above your three mesas. I will pray for you all in this time. I am reminded of the great Fredrick Douglas, the former slave turned Congressman, "Crisis always preceeds growth." I will pray for her children especially. May Godbless us all in this time.

I am very sorry to hear about your daughter my prayers go out to you and her children. I know it is hard but she died for her country. War is hell as i am a viet nam vet and know what it is to see people die. God bless you and her children.

Your daughter was a warrior to all us Native American women who served in the Armed Forces. I am a Oglala Sioux from South Dakota and served in the United States Army for 5 years and feel very honored to have the chance to e-mail you. Your daughter is a hero to all women who serve in the Armed Forces. She may not be there with you physicially, but in spirit she will be with you at all times. May the great spirit watch over her children and her family.

I just wanted to let Lori's family know that I am thinking of them and know that they are in my family's prayers. I cried as if I knew her personally when I heard of her death on the news. I am a Chickasaw Nation Tribal member from Ada, Oklahoma and just wanted to let them know we were thinking of them.
