Editorial: Support for anti-DWI campaign
MONDAY, MARCH 3, 2003 The Farmington Daily Times in an editorial backs Navajo Nation President Joe Shirley's campaign to "go after Navajos who drink and drive on the reservation." Shirley lost a daughter in a drunk driving accident and has promised to strengthen DWI laws on the reservation. Last week, he signed an agreement with Mothers Against Drunk Driving to bring a chapter to Crownpoint. Get the Story:
