Wis. school district reinstates Indian logo

WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 26, 2003

A school district in Wisconsin is keeping its Indian logo until community members vote in a non-binding referendum.

Last July, the Osseo-Fairchild School Board agreed to to remove the logo but keep the Chieftain's nickname. Voters then recalled four of the board members, replacing them with a set more sympathetic to the logo.
