Supreme Court turns down Rosebud hog farm case

TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 25, 2003

The Supreme Court on Monday turned down a Nebraska company's push to open the largest hog farm in Indian Country.

Without comment, the court let stand an 8th Circuit opinion that invalidated the company's lease with the Rosebud Sioux Tribe. The current tribal administration opposes the hog farm operation.
