Canadian woman wins Hoop Dance championship

TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 4, 2003

Lisa Odjig, a Odawa-Ojibwe woman from Canada, won the 13th annual World Hoop Dance Contest.

Odjig, a 2000 winner, is the only woman to have taken the title. The two-day contest took place in Phoenix, Arizona, over the weekend.
