Billie to show up for Seminole trial
FRIDAY, DECEMBER 13, 2002
Jim Billie, former chairman of the Seminole Tribe of Florida, will attend a trial involving three former associates accused of stealing $2.7 million from the tribe.
Billie will attend on Monday, The Miami Herald reports. He may be called to testify for the defense of the men accused of embezzling the funds.
Billie was initially the target of the investigation, according to testimony in the trial. He has not been charged by authorities.
