Tribes battle over Idaho gaming
FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 1, 2002
The Shoshone-Bannock Nation of Idaho doesn't support a tribal gaming initiative.
Proposition 1 was funded by the Nez Perce Tribe and the Coeur d'Alene Tribe. It authorizes slot machines on reservations.
The Shoshone-Bannock Nation is in federal court to legalize the machines.
