Anti-casino group linked to casino
THURSDAY, OCTOBER 24, 2002
The spokespersons for an anti-casino group in Maine also work for a casino company, The Portland Press-Herald reports.
Casinos No! hired a firm called Savvy Inc. to work against a proposed tribal casino. But Savvy also works for a gambling cruise company.
The firm says there is no conflict. "This isn't about gambling, it's about degrees, it's about limits," co-founder Dennis Bailey said, not mentioning that the group is called Casinos "No."
