Rare reptile found on Native reserve

WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 28, 2002

The bones of a 73-million year old marine reptile were found on the Blood Nation Reserve in Alberta, Canada.

The remains of the mosasaur were found during a search for gemstones. The Blood Nation owns the bones, which will be housed at the Royal Terrell Museum.
