Friends of tribe rally for casino
THURSDAY, JULY 18, 2002 A Connecticut group called Friends of the Golden Hill Paugussetts held a meeting on Tuesday. The group supports the Golden Hill Paugussett Tribe's bid for federal recognition and plans for a casino in Bridgeport. The tribe is awaiting an answer on its federal status.
