Native Hawaiians intervene in lawsuit
FRIDAY, JULY 12, 2002
A federal magistrate this week allowed a group of Native Hawaiians to intervene in a lawsuit challenging a Native Hawaiian land program.
The state administers, in trust, several Native Hawaiian programs. Non-Natives have challenged elections, land ownership and other benefits.
