Conn. paper identifies source of dissent
TUESDAY, JULY 2, 2002 The New London Day of Connecticut discloses that the writer of a letter published in today's paper is the leader of an anti-Indian and anti-treaty rights group. Elaine Willman, president of Citizens Equal Rights Alliance, wrote a letter to protest Indian gaming. William is a non-tribal member who lives on the Yakama Reservation of Washington and opposed the Yakama Nation's alcohol ban. The Day previously published a letter from a board member of CERA but didn't identity the writer's affiliation. Get the Story:
