School telescope project protested

Eight state-recognized tribes in Virginia are urging the University of Virginia not to take part in a telescope project.

The school is considering buying shares in the Mt. Graham telescope in Arizona. The mountains are considered sacred by Apache, Hopi, Navajo and other tribes.
