N.Y. pow-wow canceled

WEDNESDAY, JUNE 19, 2002

The Grindstone Creek Powwow in upstate New York has been canceled for lack of vendor interest.

The pow-wow couldn't afford to pay costs without the vendors. Next year's event could be threatened if there isn't enough interest.
