Wash. students want mascot back

THURSDAY, MAY 23, 2002

Students at a Washington high school staged a walk-out on Wednesday to get their their "Indians" mascot back.

The Issaquah High School students demanded their school board reverse a decision which killed the mascot. The mascot is a depiction of a Plains Indian in full headdress.
