Judge opposed by law professors

About 20 law professors were in Washington, D.C., on Wednesday to oppose one of President Bush's judicial picks, Judy Sarasohn of the Washington Post reports in her "Special Interests" column.
The professors met with members of the Judiciary Committee to talk about D. Brooks Smith, the nominee for for the 3rd Circuit Court of Appeals. A vote is expected as early as today.
