The future of Indian gaming in Arizona will now be decided by state voters.

The House yesterday killed compacts the tribes signed with Gov. Jane Hull. The vote was 28 to 25.

A group of tribes have drafted a ballot initiative to follow provisions of the agreements. The Colorado River Tribes have a separate drive.
