AUDIO: H.R.2815, the Cape Fox Land Entitlement Finalization Act of 2025

The U.S. House of Representatives considers H.R.2815, the Cape Fox Land Entitlement Finalization Act of 2025, on December 15, 2025.
The bill finalizes the a land selection in Alaska for the Cape Fox Corporation. The village corporation has been entitled to the land following the passage of the Alaska Native Claim Settlement Act in 1971.
The land selection consists of approximately 180 acres. The land will support the corporation, which serves the Organized Village of Saxman, a federally recognized tribe.
Following consideration, the House approved H.R.2815 under a suspension of the rules.
