AUDIO: H.R.2400, the Pit River Land Transfer Act of 2025

The U.S. House of Representatives considers H.R.2400, the Pit River Land Transfer Act of 2025, on December 15, 2025.

The bill places about 548 acres in trust for the Pit River Tribe. The land is currently managed by the U.S. Forest Service in northern California.

Following consideration, the House approved H.R.2400 under a suspension of the rules.
