Shifting the balance in historical scholarship
The stories and written documentation on boarding schools, Indian Agents, and even the fictional character, Paul Bunyan, all have an influence on how we view history.

The Western History Association Conference in Albuquerque, New Mexico, this week assembles a number of discussions led by Native American historians on those and other topics, gauging how well Native perspectives are taken into account.

Tune in to hear from some of those historians about the changing influence of Native historical scholarship.
