James Luna, a member of the La Jolla Band of Luiseño Indians, is inviting the public to "Take a Picture with a Real Indian" in Washington, D.C.
In observance of Columbus Day this coming Monday, Luna will pose for pictures at the Christopher Columbus statue outside Union Station, near the U.S. Capitol. He will be there from 4:15 to 5:45pm.
Luna's appearance is presented by the National Museum of the American Indian in conjunction with its major new exhibition, Vantage Point: The Contemporary Native Art Collection.
